Audit/Accounting Staff
We are looking for an experienced CPA who has the ability to roll up their sleeves and take advantage of an opportunity with our growing firm.
Essential Functions:
Assist in planning and performing audits, reviews and compilations of financial statements for various industries, including for profit and non-profit, as well as employee benefit plans
Perform special projects as assigned
Skills Required:
Experience following audit programs and completing tasks within budgeted hours
Experience creating work papers to be reviewed by team members
Understanding of and ability to document internal controls
Working knowledge and application of risk assessment in financial statement audits
Experience preparing financial statements, including disclosures, and analyzing account balances
Solid working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to think strategically, multi-task, and work effectively and efficiently with minimum direction in a team environment
Education & Experience Required:
2 - 4 years of current and/or recent audit experience in a public accounting firm
Bachelor's degree in accounting with at least two years public accounting experience
Desire to obtain a CPA license is required
Available for occasional overtime throughout the year and required overtime from February through April 15
