OPPORTUNITIES IN Public Accounting

Our team is looking to add two full-time positions with opportunities for growth and advancement within the firm.

 

TAX PROFESSIONAL

You will be mentored as the next Tax Director with the goal of becoming a Partner.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations (C & S).

·         Research and interpret complex tax laws and regulations.

·         Provide tax planning and consulting services to a diverse range of businesses and individuals.

·         Collaborate with other team members and participate as a key member of the firm’s management team.

·         Build and manage client relationships and provide excellent customer service.

·         Develop and mentor junior team members.

 

Skills Required:

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. Masters of Tax would be a plus.

·         CPA certification preferred.

·         A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.

·         Expert knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

·         Proven understanding of complex partnership tax concepts, including multi-tiered partnership structures.

·         Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  

ACCOUNTING PROFESSIONAL

You will work on a variety of projects in a flexible work environment with the opportunity to grow into management and beyond.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Serve as an outsourced controller/bookkeeper for various businesses. Heavy use of QuickBooks (online and desktop).

·         Preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations (C & S), non-profits, and trusts.

·         Assist with preparation of financial statements for various industries.

 

Skills Required:

·         Experience preparing tax returns for various entity types & individuals.

·         Experience preparing financial statements and analyzing account balances.

·         Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Excel.

·         Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.

·         At least 2 years of accounting and tax experience or recent public accounting experience.
